Movie title: “Elliot’s War”

Synopsis of the film:

An inventor builds an unlikely personal space transportation vehicle at home in his garage. The vehicle is named the OSULRC-1 which stands for the “Outer Space Ultra Light Rocking Chair” (v1.0) Elliot is hired by the US Military to deploy nano-technology in the battlefield, only to have the same technology used against him by Commander Silk who seeks to seperate Elliot from his invention, the OSULRC-1.

Statement of Director on the film:

“This movie was inspired by an article published in the New York Times in 2007 regarding nano-technology and its potential use for land mine removal around the world. The movie itself is a work of fiction, a sci-fi/comedy filmed locally in Sonoma California using local actors, featuring an original soundtrack also produced in part by the Writer/Director himself. What would happen today if the average Joe could fly around the galaxy on his own personal transport device? And what would happen if nano-technology could and would be used against ordinary citizens to manipulate human behavior? “Elliot’s War” is a fictional story that illustrates one potential scenario and its unlikely outcome!

The shoot was limited to one primary location for 20 actors and travel for the outdoor scenes (except for some vacation shoots) was limited to one half a dozen trips, mostly of which were less than 10 miles from the location of the sound stage for the movie. Very little petro was burned in the making of this movie.

Biography and Filmography of the Director:

Greg Rank was born in Santa Monica , California (USA) and has written and recorded contemporary songs for the past thirty years while working in business. For the past eight years he has produced dozens of music videos and corporate videos (mostly comedy). “Elliot’s War" is his first movie, it's a short: running time 29:12 minutes.
